Yukulele

Nagkaroon ako ng interest mag gitara simula ng sumikat ang Eraserheads. Nagpasama ako sa bespren ko na bumili ng gitara sa Quiapo. Tapos aral-aral na ako, bumili ako ng songhits para sa chords. Hmmm mahirap pala, sabi ko kasi maliit yung kamay ko kaya mahirap. Wala naman akong pang-enroll ng guitar lesson... Sayang naman pinangbili ko sa gitara ko kung hindi ako matututo. Dapat magtyaga ...D-A-G-A ... strum, strum... more strums... puro ganun lang at di nagtagal nakakabuo na din ako ng kanta.

Kaso lang naiinis ako pag nahinto ako ng ilang linggo then sasakit na yun dulo ng daliri ko kapag nag gitara na ako ulit. Yun ang di ok kasi magkakaroon ka ng kalyo. Kaya binigay ko na lang sa brother ko yung gitara. And mas talented yung kapatid ko dahil nagkaroon siya ng banda after that and duon na nagsimula ang Jayplay.

It was 2006 ng na-assign ako sa San Diego... na hilig naman ako makinig ng mga Akustik na mga kanta. So naisipan ko na naman bumili ng gitara. Search ako sa internet tapos click agad sa Add to cart. After 5 days nag gitara na ako ulit. Hindi na ako naiinis ngayon... kasi kailangan lang pala bumili ka ng mas ok na mga strings... mas mahal pero mas malambot naman hindi ka na magkakaroon ng kalyo masyado.

Nakakaalis kasi ng stress kapag tumutugtog. Na mimiss ko nga yung tugtugan namin ng mga dati kong kasamahan dito sa office. Dati kasi pag Saturday at swak sa schedule tumutugtog kami. Yun nga lang hindi talaga sa gitara ang destiny ko... mas natuwa ako sa drums.

Paminsan minsan nag gigitara pa din ako. Pero simula ng ni send sa akin ng pinsan ko yung link ng batang ito...




Lalo ako napaisip na mas gusto ko mag drums :P

Jayplay

I spent most of my time sa pag-aayos ng Studio kapag may free time ako sa province. I painted it orange, white and green. Dito na ang bagong tambayan ng mga mahihilig sa music at mga future recording artist from Ecija.

We just added a new Pearl double pedals and a Piccolo snare. Syempre yung dalawang Ibanez guitars at Zildjian cymbals and sticks.

Sa pagbabantay ko ng ilang araw. I had the chance to meet some of the band members. Here are some of their pictures.... Meet the Jayplay rockers and future big stars...

DJ Robin

Dala ng kalungkutan dahil na RFE, nag usyoso na lang ako ng mga blogs at napadpad ako sa site ni AZRAEL (check his site at my blogroll).

Isang way siguro ni God para libangin ang kanyang nalulungkot na anak... madaming freebies na mp3 at hindi lang basta basta mp3 mga dj mix pa... usyoso usyoso pa ako saka sinubukan ko mag dl, medyo mabagal kasi ang pag ddl ko dito sa bahay dahil aircard lang ang gamit ko ( o wag na magreklamo at $79/mo daw bayad sa AT&T nyan sabi ng nag issue sa ofc hehehe ).

Tapos nakita ko mga opm mix, hagibis mix, vst mix and backtrack mixes... pagkakita ko ng lists ng songs pm ko agad yung kumpare kong DJ at nag iwan ako ng messsage sabi ko preng monsky mga kapanahunan mo :P hehehe... ayun sumagot at natuwa kasi adiktus din talaga ang kumpare ko na yun ... kahit malaki age gap namin nagkasundo kami dahil sa music... kasama ko siya bumibile ng pirated cds dati ... hehehe

At ng matapos ang isang set ng download, pinakinggan ko na... OMG muntik na ako maluha ( di OA yun tutuo... promise! )... ang reasons naalala ko nung 1st year HS pa ako... ang mga kabarkada ko na kasama ko nag didisco ( hehehe disco pa tawag nun... bago naging clubbing )... naalala ko ang Tasty Bird ... mga Krayzee Kweenz, mga Pink Ladies... syempre pa yung mga Bad Company ... ( ssshhh andun kasi yun crush ko ... pero di nya alam kasi Kuya tawag ko sa kanya ) Bwehehehehe ...

Tapos na download ko pa yun BacktrackII.... bigla ko naalala naman sa Aracelis yung nasa ibabaw ako ng speakers at walang pakialam sa earth na nagsasayaw ... Ang bata ko pala nag simula magpuyat kaka sayaw kaya siguro hindi na ako lumaki... pero no regrets di ko pagpapalit ang mga experiences, ang mga dance steps, ang mga kaibigan... yung saya ng kabataan na di nababayadan at di na mababalikan ...

Piece of Me

I must confessed - I am a Britney fan. (Jologs hehehehe)

I was a part time instructor in La Fortuna College. During pay day, I'll buy CDs of Britney, (Pirated pa nga... hehehe... well during that time yun lang ang kaya ng budget).

Then I started working in Manila, yun isang boss ko eventually nagustuhan na din yun music na pinapakinggan ko coz we stayed in one apartment. Sa mga Karaoke bar sa Libis you'll hear Hit me Baby One more Time. Hanggang Batanes sa Videoke, di pwedeng hindi kakanta ng song ni Britney.

When I moved here, I started buying the original copies for my collection. I even bought the MGM Concert and her movie Crossroads. Lokohan nga namin ng friends ko dito na Spears is my middle name kasi I'm Lucky daw. Swerte coz I always have a project. The kind of job that I have kasi usually pag last and first quarter slow ang work but for me I managed to work continuously either matatawagan ng former managers for a new project or reliever ng mga Supervisor who went out on leave, There's a policy kasi sa mga leave ng permanent employee to use it or lose it.

Anyways, as for Britney, I still download some of her new songs and play on my Ipod. I just feel bad on what's happening with her life, palaging nasa tabloid with all those negative write ups. Despite of that bad things nag top pa din sa Billboard ang singles nya.

But I still believe on her talent, she's only human and i hope that one day she can pick up the piecess. Her kids want the piece of her more than anybody else.
